"Gymnastics is so amazingly good for kids- no matter what sport they end up doing. Everyone of my children has benefited from learning the sport - from self-discipline and self-motivation to persistence and respect. Having my family work with me at the gym means the world to me. My goal for SGC is to offer high quality instruction with well-trained coaches who love gymnastics - and kids - to as many children who want to do it!"
Colin has been doing gymnastics at Kelly's (now SGC) since he was four years old. He was such an active preschooler his mom had to find something that would burn up some of his energy - gymnastics was a great fit! Gymnastics was also a good foundation sport for Colin, too -he also excels at soccer, rugby, wrestling and diving,
When Colin first started teaching at SGC ten years ago, he was a teaching assistant to a preschooler with autism - that's when he found his calling. Colin is a senior at Granite State College earning his B.S. degree in Psychology. He also works in Behavioral Health at the Monarch School. He is certified as a Ninja Challenge coach and runs our very popular Ninja program.
Colin's whole family loves gymnastics. His mom, Sharon, is the owner/head coach/administrator of Seacoast Gymnastics Center. His brother, Jerome, is training boys gymnastics and is an assistant coach. And his sister, Monica, is an outstanding competitive gymnast, coach and artist. .Having seen the magic that gymnastics can have on children of all abilities, Colin's goal is to open a therapeutic gymnastics facility.
